HPA Fuel Efficient Vehicle Parking Discount Program

The Hartford Parking Authority in conjunction with Mayor Perez's citywide clean air initiatives proudly presents its Fuel Efficient Vehicle Parking Discount Program to encourage the use of fuel efficient vehicles in the city of Hartford and reward our fuel-conscious monthly parking patrons.

To receive a 50% monthly parking discount at the Morgan Street Garage, MAT Garage and Church Street Garage, the vehicle owner need only provide the following:

• Registration (The auto must be registered in the patron's name)
• Documentation stating vehicle's minimum gasoline mileage rating of 30 mpg City and 30 mpg Highway. Note: This information can be found on the manufacturer's retail sticker.*

  *If the patron can not locate the original manufacturer's retail sticker:

1. The patron can go to their auto dealer to procure a copy of the original sticker by providing the dealer with the vehicle identification number for the auto in question and procure a duplicate copy of the manufacturer's retail sticker.
2. To research the eligibility of a vehicle one can visit the following website: www.fueleconomy.gov. If this site indicates that the vehicle make and model meets the 30 mpg city and highway mileage requirement, this should be deemed sufficient proof that the vehicle qualifies for the discount.
